The Cultura Box is a project that celebrates the power of storytelling.

We create zines and stories about culture, identity, motherhood, and a few things in between. The Cultura Box was started by a Black, Afro-Indigenous single mother and Spanish educator. She started The Cultura Box as a way to both reflect on her own identity and to help create opportunities for young people to reflect on their identities and learn to appreciate multiple perspectives.
